Chester-based C&C Catering Equipment has completed a kitchen outfit project at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.
The large NHS establishment required commercial catering facilities as part of a fast-track programme. The busy hospital, providing emergency care, maternity services and trauma surgery amongst others, wanted a brand new commercial catering offering at its main ground floor restaurant.
Adding to its expanding portfolio of healthcare schemes, C&C acted as main contractor on the project, overseeing minor building work, as well as installing the new equipment.
Brands at the scheme included C&C Catering Fabrications, Proline and Retigo, with design work by Radford Chancellor.
Project manager Keith Hartharn commented: “It has been great to expand our health portfolio schemes and work at Wexham Park Hospital. The fast-track nature of the project was a challenge, with the fit out completed in 9 days, however we achieved handover and operation in line with the client’s requirements, and are really pleased with the end result.”
