C&C Catering Equipment has recently completed a project at Highgate School in London.

As one of the UK’s leading co-educational independent schools, the 450-year-old school required a new kitchen area that reflected the high standards expected at the facility.

Starting on the scheme in January 2020, C&C completed works at the kitchen area, with brands on the project including C&C Catering Fabrications, Rational, Hobart, and Falcon. Holywell was the main contractor and ISCC was the consultant.

The team reportedly worked efficiently with careful planning to catch up after the lockdown period in line with the government guidance around Covid-19.

C&C Catering Equipment’s senior project manager Keith Hartharn commented, “We’re delighted to have been involved with this project at such a prestigious location and are really pleased with the end result.

“There were some challenges such as the access through the existing school area into the new build section and ensuring deadlines were met following the lockdown period, but we were pleased to overcome these by working carefully and efficiently with others.

“It was great to work with the builder on this project who were helpful and accommodating allowing for a good relationship throughout the project.”
