C&C Catering Equipment has completed an outfit of the catering facilities at First Choice’s new head office in Cannock.
The Chester-based company was asked by the spares specialist’s MD John Whitehouse to assist with the design.
The new headquarters spans an enormous 100,000ft2 and requires quality catering environments for First Choice’s growing workforce and clients.
The space was designed to create a professional, useable and safe environment that would also provide an impressive finish once completed.
Due to the open kitchen, the main focus from the restaurant looking in would be the Corian food service counter, which was manufactured by C&C Catering Fabrications at its Merseyside factory. The company also manufactured all the bespoke stainless-steel wall benches, sink units and more items that are an integral part of a professional kitchen.
As the main cooking equipment was being supplied direct from MKN, a similar profile front edge detail was required on fabrication to be included within the cookline. As a result, the aesthetics were designed to be seamless with a matching profile.
Sales director Peter Farrell commented: “It was a real pleasure to have worked with John and his project manager Andy Lawrence on this scheme, and the feedback we have received has been fantastic. We feel very privileged to have been able to involve all three of our companies; C&C Catering Equipment for the design and project management, C&C Catering Fabrications for the counter and bespoke stainless steel items and C&C Catering Engineers for the installation.”
C&C Catering Equipment’s MD Peter Kitchin added: “John Whitehouse runs one of the best known and well respected companies in our industry. Since the facility would be viewed by many visitors, including competitors, a high standard of execution was paramount.
“However, the main objective was to ensure John Whitehouse’s faith in C&C was justified and we therefore endeavoured to meet and exceed his expectations throughout. We’re delighted with the end result, and to have worked at this brilliant facility.”
