Neil Johnson has joined Blackpool-based distributor Caterware as business development manager, after an 11-year stint at maintenance specialist, Combined Catering Services.
He will operate on a national level to win new business and further enhance the services provided to the firm’s existing clients and suppliers.
Caterware MD Mark Drazen stated: “I have known Neil for many years. I first worked closely with him in 1986 when he left the old MKE set up to become our Garland sales rep. Since then I have always followed his career with interest and when the opportunity arose to bring him into Caterware, it was a very quick and easy decision.
He added: “Neil’s 37 years varied working experience with manufacturers, consultants and fellow distributors, will add further value to our long established and experienced team.
“Like many of us here at Caterware, he has only ever been employed within this industry, and we are sure that with his all-round abilities and resources, he will fit in perfectly and can only be of benefit to our existing purchasing, sales and project management abilities.
Johnson said: “As a previous supplier and competitor to Caterware, I have always admired and respected their general ethos, professionalism and strong client relationships. I am very excited by this opportunity and greatly look forward to assisting the further development of the business for many years to follow.”
