Caterkwik advertises prices at an 'all-time low'

Cater-Kwik's headquarters will host a Rational CookLive event on 31 January.

Online foodservice equipment supplier Caterkwik insists the prices it can offer to customers belonging to its ‘Discount Club’ are now at an all-time low.

Clients pay a 12-month fee of £39.99 to become a member of the club, which gives them exclusive access to rock bottom prices on selected catering equipment.

The Cumbrian outfit claims to offer reduced prices on 3,000 lines, with more than 1,000 of those items saving customers more than it costs them to join the scheme.

Caterkwik says it works hard to check competitors’ pricing, push its suppliers for the best deals and buy in bulk to deliver the best prices online, even if it means having to be content with “very tight margins”.

It reckons that on popular brands such as Lincat, members can save up to 30% compared to rivals.

Currently it is offering a free 1000mm gas hose with any order of Lincat gas equipment, along with free next-day delivery on all Lincat kit.

Discount Club members also receive access to its “preloved service” where they can advertise unwanted used catering equipment at no extra cost.

Caterkwik was established in 1994 as a national one-stop-shop for branded catering equipment and prides itself on not being beaten on price.

Its portfolio ranges from commercial glasswashers, microwaves and grills to bottle coolers, wine fridges and chest freezers.
