It has been a busy year since the Catering Partnership was purchased in August 2014 by Northern Shire Ventilation Hygiene, allowing previous owners Peter and Jane Swinburne to retire.
During this time the Cumbria-based distributor has taken on seven new staff members overall, including five who switched from Harmony Business & Technology, which was bought out by JLA last year.
This has expanded the Catering Partnership workforce to 10 and it is still looking to recruit service engineers and people with sales or project experience.
The recent joiners from Harmony comprise Helen Eccles, project leader, who has 15 years’ experience; David Mather, sales manager, with 30 years’ industry experience; Alistair Dixon, service engineer, who had specialist laundry sector experience, Tim Foster, lead service engineer and Kevin Beecroft, service engineer.
The Catering Partnership also hired Oliver Attwood as a trainee service engineer and Lesley-Ann Baker in the financial accounts department.
According to MD Graham Heath: “We are continuing to expand on the range of services the Catering Partnership originally built its name upon, with an emphasis on training and technology, and we look forward to the next 12 months.”
