Catering Insight Awards vote on a knife edge on the last day

The Catering Insight Awards 2021 vote is going down to the wire, with the voting process closing at 5pm today (5 November).

Even after hundreds of votes have already been cast, many categories are still tied or separated by a handful of votes. In fact, the five finalists in one major category are covered by only six votes!

So if you have received a voting form, make sure you don’t miss out on making your choice, as your vote really will make the difference as to who wins.

Senior distributor executives are choosing the supplier trophy winners and vice versa. Just a few representatives from each leading company in the UK catering equipment supply chain are invited to make their choices, to ensure the results really are representative of the industry’s views. All votes are verified, so anyone trying to vote multiple times or trying to vote for themselves (you know who you are!) will have their attempts deleted.

The winners, as decided by the sector, will be announced at Catering Insight’s black tie gala ceremony on Thursday 18 November at 8 Northumberland Avenue in central London. With fewer than 50 tickets left, don’t delay in booking your place by clicking HERE. Tables of 10 or individual tickets are available.

Catering Insight takes the safety of guests very seriously, and so will be implementing many measures ahead of and during the ceremony to mitigate Covid risks as much as feasible. The team has secured a larger space than would normally be required, to make sure there is plenty of extra room for social distancing if preferred. We have also opted for the largest possible tables (usually used for larger groups) so there is as much space during the presentation as possible.

Guests will be recommended to wear masks before, after and between the three courses of the evening’s meal. Finally, we will be asking all attendees to provide either proof of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of the event.
