Catering Insight Awards 2021 winner: Distributor of the Year – Marketing & Strategy

RDA’s Nick and Alex Bradley collected the Distributor of the Year - Marketing & Strategy trophy from Catering Insight editor Clare Nicholls.

The Catering Insight Distributor of the Year – Marketing & Strategy Award honours dealers who have actioned innovative marketing campaigns or devised well thought-out strategies.

It was a close contest, but the winner, Restaurant Design Associates, eventually pulled ahead with 39% of the vote.

RDA developed a new Micromarkets range in direct response to the pandemic and the new way of working and using catering spaces. The Micromarket modules are ‘site ready’ which marks them out from many other versions of micromarket currently available. The range has its own specific brochure with a cross-sector audience to walk the customer through the steps to custom build their own micromarket suite.

Plus newsletter mailshots have resulted in greater numbers of enquiries for the distributor in recent months.

RDA’s Nick and Alex Bradley picked up the award and said: “We won the Distributor of the Year – North Award in 2018 and 2019 but this is the first time we have been in for this one so that’s really nice.

“It’s a completely different category and we have genuinely made an effort into our marketing this year and how we use it to actually win work now so it’s even better to be recognised for it.”
