Catering equipment supplier taken to court

Mario Catering Equipment Supplier of Middlesbrough has been hit with a winding up petition raised by Your Electrical Supplies, Service and Solutions (Yesss Electrical), based in West Yorkshire.

Winding up petitions are usually issued in cases where companies fail to pay contractors for their services. Solicitors for the petitioner are Jeffrey Green Russell of London.

The case will be heard at the High Court in London on 2 March.

The equipment supplier was only incorporated two years ago, in February 2013. At the time, Moussa Chahine was listed as the director, but he resigned the post last November. The original company secretary, Riadh Majid, resigned just seven days after the company’s incorporation. Both parties are still recorded as each holding 50% of the business’ shares, however. Companies House lists the current director as Esa Karimi.

According to accounts filed last February, the company had a net worth of just £2,292. The company is currently rated as having a G credit score, meaning it represents an above average risk.

Catering Insight was unable to contact anyone from Mario Catering Equipment Supplier, as the only telephone number listed for the company, on its Facebook page, is now out of service. Representatives from Yesss Electrical were unable to be reached at this time.
