Food Service Solutions Ltd, which also trades under the name CRS Counters, has filed for liquidation.
The firm’s principal trading address is recorded as being in the Ninetree Trading Estate in Rotherham.
According to Companies House records, the business was established in July 2012 by Yomtov Jacobs, who then left the position of director. Andrew Wilcox took up a director role in January 2013 but left in April 2014 and was succeeded by the currently-recorded director, Paul Ballard.
Services on the CRS Counters website have been suspended, but a Facebook listing states that it has manufactured counters for venues including Hallett’s The Bakers in Paignton, Devon; Perios restaurant in Birmingham; Waltham Forest College; Wentworth Garden Centre; Calderstones Hospital in Whalley; Hertfordshire Cathedral; Mexigo Burrito bar, Bournemouth; Hammersmith Adult College; Asian sweet shop and restaurant, Cafe Zoya, in Bradford; and Kashmir Crown Bakeries, also in Bradford.
A general meeting of the company’s members on 16 March resulted in the following resolution being passed, according to the London Gazette: “The company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and it is advisable to wind it up.”
At the subsequent creditors meeting held on the same day, Paul Whitwam and Gary Blackburn from corporate recovery and insolvency specialist BWC were confirmed as being appointed as joint liquidators.
Catering Insight has tried to contact both Paul Ballard from Food Service Solutions and BWC’s Paul Whitwam and Gary Blackburn but hasn’t been able to reach them as of yet.
