Catering Equipment Ltd has introduced a self-sealing gastronorm container lid range to its portfolio.
Designed to help prevent food waste, the polypropylene hermetic lids are manufactured through dual moulding technology which is aimed at enabling adhesion between the different materials, the gasket and air-valve (patented), as well as being suitable for contact with food and ensuring tightness.
Thanks to the particular geometry of the gasket, the lid is said to maintain the seal without needing additional supports or handles. Each component is removable, allowing easy and simple washing.
The self-sealing lid can cope with a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C and is designed to enable food to stay fresh longer, especially when used in a fridge.
The lids fit all of Catering Equipment Ltd’s gastronorm range and are particular suited to polypropylene containers.
Sizes available comprise: GN12, GN13, GN14, GN16 and GN19.
