The headquarters of the merged firm are in Stockton-on-Tees.

Space Design Associates stated: “With two separate companies came two of everything – domain names, web sites, telephone numbers, email addresses – the more we thought about, it the more sense it made to amalgamate these two sides of the business into one. This gives us one brand identity, one point of contact, one unified team and one clear message.”

The firm’s new logo is derived from the ‘Yin and Yang’ symbol found in Chinese philosophy, conveying the interrelated nature of the business elements, with the ‘S’ running through the centre to connect the two halves.

Space Design Associates will aim to provide a complete design, supply and installation service to the education, leisure, healthcare, local government and business and industry sectors. Projects include foodservice environments such as coffee shops, cafés and commercial kitchen facilities; teaching and learning spaces such as classrooms, seminar rooms, ICT suites and informal social learning spaces, as well as corporate meeting rooms, break-out spaces and receptions areas.
