Merseyside-based catering equipment supplier, Cater-Bake, has promoted Scott Robson to the role of area sales manager.
Scott Robson has been at Cater-Bake for 5 years and will now take on the role of building relationships with both existing and new customers from across the UK, helping to drive sales and providing product demonstrations both on site and at CaterBase, the company’s new showroom and cooking centre.
Along with this, his role will also involve developing the company’s knowledge on the brands it promotes such as Zanolli and Fimar, which Cater-Bake is the sole UK supplier for, as well as its own brands such as Kingfisher and Kebab King.
Joining the firm back in 2014 after finishing sixth form, Robson firstly got a job in the warehouse driving the vans to deliver stock to customers where his knowledge on equipment and machinery quickly expanded.
After working in the warehouse for 3 years, he had a brief stint within the service department before moving into sales and was then given this opportunity due to his knowledge of equipment and working relationships with customers.
