Cater-Bake joins in price debate

Coinciding with a call from the dealer community about current trade pricing, Cater-Bake UK has released its 2016 price list, which sees it hold or even lower prices on a number of core products.

“We believe the relationship between the wholesalers and dealers is a partnership that needs to benefit all parties,” said Cater-Bake MD Mark Hutchings. “The strength of the pound combined with other factors has meant that we can afford to give a little back to our valued customers.”

Product prices shaved include for Zanolli conveyor pizza ovens, plus Cater-Bake has increased the warranties given, including parts and labour warranty as standard with all products, rather than adding a surcharge, as well as lengthening the guarantee on many items.

Hutchings added: “We know we’ve got quality products, so increasing the levels of warranty will incur very little problems or cost to us. Why not pass the peace of mind on to the dealer and the customer?

“As we seek to increase our market share, we need all our dealers to know that choosing our equipment means no problems down the line, especially at a time where there’s so much cheap and nasty equipment being hawked about.”

The supplier will also be exhibiting at this year’s Hotelympia exhibition. Hutchings detailed: “Please pop a long for a chat and to kick the tyres on some of our ovens and meet our new head of sales – Steven Lilley. We’re also cooking pizzas on the stand, so you won’t go hungry, either.”
