Carpigiani has made a number of new appointments to its UK sales team.
Will Scott-Howes, whose previous experience in the industry includes stints at Brakes Food Service and Mitchell & Butlers, recently joined the ice cream machine manufacturer as business development manager for the Midlands and Wales.
While David Ashton, previously business development manager for the London and South East region, has now taken on the role of national account manager, with Alan Roberts taking charge of his previous area.
Furthermore, Carpigiani UK has appointed Michele Stanco as its new training and development chef.
Fresh from his role as pastry sous chef in charge of the pastry team at Heston Blumenthal’s renowned restaurant, The Fat Duck, Michele Stanco will bring a wealth of culinary expertise and experience to the company.
The role has been created in response to the growing end user demand for expert help when it comes to menu development and recipe formulation and will see Stanco working across the UK delivering group and one-to-one training sessions for those who are new to the industry as well as for people in existing businesses.
He will be working closely with chefs and operators from independent and group restaurants, hotels, gelato shops, retailers and leisure franchises across the country.
