Carpigiani UK has launched Carpigiani Dessert Club, a new online experience formed to host a community of likeminded people looking to share knowledge and gain insight into the world of ice cream, gelato and associated delights.
Paul Ingram, Carpigiani UK MD, explained how Dessert Club came to life: “We’ve been planning to launch this for some time and with the current market disruption which is affecting businesses and everyone’s way of life, we felt it was a great time to launch the Carpigiani Dessert Club.
“We’ve set up the club firstly as a support structure for our entire customer base, but more widely as a ‘go to’ hub, a dynamic environment for anyone who may be seeking information, guidance, inspiration or motivation.”
Carpigiani Dessert Club is launching with a series of free 30-60 minute webinars which will cover topics such as: latest food trends, recipe formulation, niche products, serving techniques, branding opportunities, Q&As, equipment utilisation, maintenance tips and sustainability.
Ingram continued: “Kicking off the webinars will be chef Joe Yates demonstrating how independent producers can quickly access the profitable home delivery ice cream and gelato sector to drive new revenues, which is particularly important right now.”
