Ali Group company Carpigiani used last month’s Host exhibition in Milan to showcase three of its new products.
The first new development is Ready, a machine that mixes, heats, and freezes gelato in the same cylinder, designed for those who are new to the business and who want simple, dependable equipment at an accessible price.
The ice cream maker contains a system that can pasteurise and freeze liquid- and paste-based mixes, which is said to allow end users to widen the range of products available.
Ready should enable operators to create gelato quickly in front of customers, which is claimed to reduce stocking costs.
The unit’s rounded corners are designed to prevent operator injuries, while heated cylinder cleaning, a removable stainless steel door, beater and extraction chute, are claimed to enable good hygiene.
Carpigiani also introduced two innovations in the soft gelato arena. The first is 153, a counter machine offering two flavours and a mix, what is said to be a compact footprint, and the ability
to produce 330 75g portions per hour of soft gelato, frozen yogurt and smoothies.
The 153 has two tanks connected to two independent refrigeration and beater systems to simultaneously produce two different kinds of soft gelato. The vertical air cooling system is designed to enable the machine to fit between existing equipment and make the most of counter space.
The machine also features smart ventilation that is said to reduce noise levels and optimise production.
The last new launch was the XVL 1 Counter, said to be the smallest single flavour soft gelato counter machine on the market. It is claimed to easily fit between other machines, and includes a condensation system. The unit features a self-pasteurising system and the cylinder can be heated for cleaning operations.
Both the 153 and XVL 1 Counter are Teorema ready, so that operators can remotely monitor their machine via a smartphone app.
