It will also supply new catering equipment and carry out kitchen installation work when new sites are acquired or existing sites are revamped.

Mitchells & Butlers currently owns and operates in excess of 1,600 sites encompassing brands such a All Bar One, Toby Carvery, O’Neill’s and Browns. Collectively its sites churn out 125 million meals a year.

“We are delighted that Mitchells & Butlers have selected us to be a long-term supply partner,” said Nick Oryino, managing director of Carford. “It has been a tremendous start with our project team already working on future plans and installations, as well as our field service engineers working hard to ensure all kitchens are kept at their peak.”

The award of Carford as a services partner follows a review of Mitchells & Butlers’ supply chain that has led the company to use long-term strategic supply partners in order to deliver substantial savings across its estate.
