Electrolux Professional has launched its new ecostore range of refrigerated cabinets that it claims surpasses previous models in terms of capacity.
The manufacturer says it canvassed opinion from kitchen professionals when creating the range in order to meet the current need for innovation, reliability and sustainability.
The ecostore range contains an ‘Optiflow’ air circulation system that adapts to the load for optimal temperature uniformity and excellent food preservation in any loading condition.
A touchscreen feature, meanwhile, provides pre-set food categories to fix the perfect temperature and humidity according to the food being stored.
Electrolux claims ecostore uses 65% less energy than standard cabinets based on studies by Italy’s National Association of Domestic and Professional Manufacturers, which compare class 1 refrigerators and freezers with equivalent cabinets in class 7.
The units also purportedly contain 50 litres of extra space compared to similar cabinets and thicker wall insulation and three-chamber gaskets to reduce energy loss.
