Beverage appliance specialist Caffeine Ltd has worked in conjunction with distributor KCCJ to install 147 coffee machines throughout Tottenham Hotspur Football Club’s new stadium.
The machines include espresso systems from Schaerer and Gaggia, and bulk brew machines from Bunn.
Caffeine Ltd’s sister firm, Tiki Tonga, is also providing the espresso and filter coffee for the large scale venue.
Spurs unveiled Tiki Tonga as the official coffee supplier with club legend Ledley King and Saracens captain Brad Barritt, who is co-owner of the coffee brand, serving the first cups to the public at the stadium’s The M restaurant.
Barritt said: “We are delighted to partner with Tottenham Hotspur as their official coffee supplier. Tiki Tonga coffee is inspired by sport and strives to bring people together.
“We are immensely proud to be sharing our story and serving our product throughout one of the finest stadiums in the world and hope the loyal fans and visitors enjoy our coffee.”
Justin Stockwell, MD of Caffeine Ltd and co-founder of Tiki Tonga, added: “As both a sports fan and a coffee advocate, I’m delighted that Spurs have set a new standard in coffee service at stadia.”
The football club says it was drawn to Tiki Tonga because it is ethically sourced, with full traceability from bean to bag, and the brand supports both local and international charities – The Matt Hampson Foundation and LIV in South Africa.
Tiki Tonga coffee will be on sale throughout the stadium on matchdays and via a Gaggia barista machine in The M for non-matchday visitors.
