Coffee machine specialist Caffeine Limited has launched a bolt-on to Schaerer’s Coffee Art Plus system that allows the unit to make not just a full range of espresso-based beverages but also flavoured coffees, with a choice of four different flavours at the touch of a button.
The new bolt-on is called Flavour Point and it can use syrups or alcohol to flavour drinks. In conjunction with the Coffee Art Plus system, it can make both hot and cold beverages and, as well as coffee-based drinks such as vanilla latte macchiato, it can also make milkshakes.
Flavour Point is designed to match the Coffee Art Plus facia, to make a seamless and compact beverage system. The unit’s touch-screen has graphics allowing the user to select their drink and flavour. With the Flavour Point bolt-on, the menu can be programmed with over 100 drink variations.
The machine is capable of making 350 beverages per hour. “With Flavour Point and Coffee Art Plus we have an all-singing, all-dancing bean-to-cup system that replicates the drinks on the most comprehensive coffee menu, at the touch of a button,” says Justin Stockwell, MD of Caffeine Limited.
“Thanks to Schaerer’s advanced technologies, the quality, taste and aroma are not only totally consistent but also just as good as a barista-made beverage.”
Coffee Art Plus systems have list prices starting from £8,500.Caffeine Limited distributes the Schaerer range via dealers nationwide and all machines are backed by a 12 month warranty.
