Newly-created equipment buying group ENSE is on the look-out for a sales director as it bids to get the organisation off the ground in the UK.
The group is currently assessing potential office space in Birmingham and Manchester, but ENSE founder and MD, Bob Adams, said the chosen candidate would have the flexibility to base themselves where it was most convenient.
He said the role is a key part of ENSE’s plans and will help it establish a solid base from which to attract members.
“The sales director will call on dealers and manufacturers in recruiting and support efforts,” explained Adams. “The individual must possess a good working knowledge of the UK catering industry and know many of the key players, both on the dealer side as well as the manufacturer side.”
Adams said candidates should be “organised, money motivated, professional, show self-initiative and come from a sales background.”
ENSE aims to create a buying group that provides catering equipment distributors with compelling financial and marketing rewards for supporting a select number of brands that belong to the group.
“We will deliver profitability to dealers and market share to the manufacturers, which is important to both,” said Adams last month.
Adams claims ENSE has now signed up its first few dealers and remains in discussions with manufacturers interested in being part of the group.
