Burco heats up microwave market


Burco Commercial has added a new 1,800W microwave to its range, available from this month.

Offering what is termed “a significantly enhanced power output”, which is designed to reduce cooking times whilst still providing a consistent even cook, the new microwave features a 34litre capacity.

It also has an LED digital display and touch pad control capable of storing a number of programmable menu choices, plus a 60 minute timer.

This launch comes just a month after the company launched an improved 1,000W model, suitable for smaller sites or those looking to introduce a basic food offering to their existing business.

Adam Hill, commercial product manager at Burco Commercial commented: “We are very excited about the launch of the new 1,800W model. Burco Commercial is committed to developing new products within our portfolio which help to make life easier for those working within a professional kitchen environment.

“Although traditionally microwaves have been seen as somewhat of a throwaway appliance by operators; they are now becoming increasingly aware that buy investing a little more in an appliance they can get a great working life and also a great warranty cover with aftercare packages.

The microwave has a 3 year parts and 1 year labour warranty.
