Catering equipment manufacturer Burco is hoping that a new service to personalise its water boilers will take off this year.
The company has developed a technique for adding a vibrant personalised wrap to the range, providing the opportunity for chains to increase brand awareness or promote a specific offering throughout their establishments.
Burco first announced the capability last summer and said this week that it is looking for the branded boilers to be offered through its wholesale and distribution partners.
It hopes the personalisation service will appeal to chains and franchises.
“With the capability to personalise the equipment to suit the look and feel of a product or chain of outlets, the boilers can be used just as effectively for the brand awareness and sale of other revenue generating products,” said Diane Ho, commercial product manager for Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances, which owns the Burco brand.
The wrap that goes around the boiler is made from a hardwearing vinyl and can be personalised with a specific design supplied by the customer or designed by GDPA.
In addition, customers are able to add logos and trademarks to the boiler’s LCD screen, further enhancing the consistency of the branding message.
