Bunzl Lockhart moves into drinkware

Bunzl Lockhart Catering Equipment has launched a new range of plastic drinkware which aims to combine durability and cutting edge design with value for money.

Designed and distributed exclusively by Bunzl Lockhart, the range is manufactured from shatterproof material, making it suitable for any catering or dining environment where glass cannot be used.

The collection includes four ranges across 56 contemporary pieces, which include stemware, tumblers, beer glasses and cocktail/party glasses.

The Argon range of ‘Angled DOF’ tumblers start from £33.00 for a case of 12 in 13oz/36cl. Beer glasses which form part of the Neon range, feature one and two pint beer glasses in cases of 12 from £30.00.

Over in the Xenon cocktail/party range, the collection includes double walled ‘frap cups’ from £18.00 for cases of 12, disposable ‘Frat Shot’, ‘Frat Cup’ and ‘Bomb Shot’ glasses in packs of 50 from £3.00 and a clear 3litre ‘fish bowl’ in cases of six for £16.50 and a 16oz/47cl ‘Drinking Jar’ also in cases of six for £21.00.

Paul Nieduszynski, MD, Bunzl Lockhart Catering Equipment commented: “Yes, it’s plastic, however, visually it’s virtually impossible to tell it from the real thing.

“In fact most of the people that we showed the new Plasma range to initially assume that it was glass. Ensuring that Plasma was both stylish and safe was a key requirement in our strategy for the range.”
