Following Broadland Catering Equipment’s liquidation in December, the distributor’s MD Colin Chettleburgh has requested that JLA becomes the preferred service provider for his existing customers.
JLA stated: “Despite the difficult circumstances, customer service remains at the top of the agenda for Colin Chettleburgh.
“We would like to reassure you that our top priority is ensuring that you continue to receive a consistent and excellent level of customer service during this transitional period.”
Anyone trying to access the former Broadland website is now automatically re-directed to this notice on JLA’s site.
The firm emphasised that it has engineers based in the Norwich area who can assist Broadland’s former customers swiftly.
JLA is one of the UK’s largest independent commercial catering service suppliers, offering machine replacement, service contracts, breakdown cover, emergency engineer response and 24/7 telephone support for a number of leading brands.
Chettleburgh blamed competition driving margins down and rising labour costs as the result of a buoyant London market, as factors contributing to Broadland’s insolvency.
