Gas products specialist Bright Spark has launched a new Butane battery to be used with its blowtorch and indoor cookers, said to be “ideal for chefs and professional cooks working in the catering industry”, as well as new look packaging for the product.
The new Catering Gas product is the result of continuous production monitoring by Bright Spark, and is filled with a pure and residue free formula with a mix of butane and propane that burns with a consistently clear blue flame with no nasty after burn smells.
Chris Baker, managing director of JFA, Bright Sparks’ parent company, said: “This fresh new presentation is our way of telling chefs that we are committed to assuring a quality product.
“Butane Battery Catering Gas cartridges can be relied on to meet the most stringent quality standards required in professional kitchens. The means chefs can have peace of mind, knowing they’re using a safe, long-lasting cartridge that won’t leave nasty tastes or unhealthy residues on foods.”
The 220gm Catering Gas cartridges can be bought in cartons of 27 pieces of four-pack shrink-wrapped cartridges. The steel tins are also recyclable and can be disposed of safely.
Bright Sparks’ product are regularly used for cooking demonstrations and have featured on television shows such as Heston Blumenthal’s How to Cook Like Heston.
