Bradford-based catering display and counter firm Victor Manufacturing has announced the departure of its long-standing sales director, Andrew Gibson.
Victor said in a statement: “Victor Manufacturing Ltd would like to announce that Andrew Gibson, who has been sales director at the company for the last 18 years, has left the business. The board and staff would like to take the opportunity to thank Andrew for his long service to the company and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
It is not known yet where Gibson is moving to, or who will be replacing him in the sales director role.
He joined Victor in 1999, following a 9 year stint as sales manager at Hemel Hempstead-based distributor, Bartlett Catering Equipment.
Prior to that he served in the army as a chef for over 12 years, from 1977 to 1990.
Gibson has overseen a period in which sales have grown to £8.8m, according to the latest publicly-displayed accounts from Companies House. This was from a base of £4.3m in 2001, the first recorded turnover available.
In recent years export sales have accelerated too, which prompted Victor to increase its manufacturing space by 9,000ft2 in 2015. This year it opened up another new warehouse, to enable the manufacturer to dispatch almost 100 of its products on the same day they are received.
