Buying consortium ENSE UK has made several personnel changes as it looks to help support its supplier and distributor partners through the difficult times prompted by the pandemic.

The group made two new appointments to bolster the breadth of its team.

Paul Knight is joining on 1 September 2020 as group commercial director. He spent many years building Bidfood’s business in catering equipment and supplies as well as food, working his way up to becoming MD from 2005 until this year.

ENSE UK MD Bob Adams commented: “Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to help grow ENSE into the future.”

The other newcomer is Ben Sherriff, who is starting his role as business development director on 25 August. Latterly he was group sales markets manager at Airedale Catering Equipment, and prior to that, he spent 8 years as Blanco Professional UK’s sales director.

Adams added: “With experience in both the distributor and supplier markets, Ben brings a strong strategic and tactical presence to ENSE in order to continue the development of business between our partners.”

The pair of recruitments for ENSE UK follows Robin McKnight departing as sales director in July, after serving 7 years in the role.
