The 2014 Hotel & Catering Show got underway in Bournemouth this morning, with the organisers vowing that the event would be its most successful to date.
A host of product launches and special offers are expected over the next two days, as more than 120 exhibitors showcase their products and services to visitors from the south coast.
The show provides a platform for catering equipment suppliers to pitch their offerings to local chefs, hoteliers and hospitality proprietors over two days of networking.
A comprehensive seminar programme is planned for the show and will see a plethora of speakers discuss everything from ‘Social Media and how to use it’ to ‘Customer Service – why it matters’.
Catering equipment exhibitors at the show include Alliance South, Carford Group, DCA Equipment, EcoPure Waters, Gram, Osborne Refrigerators, Rational and The Coffee Bean Company.
Mark Pullen, manager of Alliance’s southern branch, said recently that the show had become an important date in the calendar for its business.
“It is unique to the region we’re based in, allowing local suppliers and businesses to connect and interact in a manner which is likely to benefit both parties. The local focus means that every visitor to our stand is a potential customer,” he said.
