Bonus culture remains for catering equipment supply chain

The results of Catering Insight’s Job Satisfaction Survey into whether bonuses have increased over the past 12 months.

Catering Insight’s 2017 Job Satisfaction Survey showed that a bonus culture is still very much in full swing for distributors and manufacturers.

59.43% of the almost 100 dealer and supplier respondents reported earning bonuses on top of their basic pay.

This was of course particularly prevalent among sales staff, with 76.47% of that sector earning extra through bonuses.

These figures suggest that catering equipment distributors and manufacturers are increasingly willing to reward employees for excelling in their roles.

In fact, a vast 42.11% of those who earn bonuses have seen their totals increase over the past year, while another 38.60% have maintained their bonus figures. Just 19.3% of bonus-earners had seen their totals drop.
