Blue Badger Wholesale will now be managing the after sales and warranty on Whirlpool K20 and K40 icemakers purchased from the supplier.
The supplier feels its long-standing collaboration with Whirlpool Professional means it continues to review what the partners deliver and work together to bring improvements.
Earlier this year, Blue Badger hired Mark Spencer as a new director, taking overall responsibility for the firm’s product development, service and spares department.
He has over 35 years of engineering experience across commercial catering, refrigeration and warewashing and he has been running a successful service company for the last 31 of those.
Spencer believes that the Whirlpool K20 and K40 have always featured amongst the most reliable items of commercial equipment that he has worked on. “With the correct preventative maintenance, the machines will provide many years of service.
“The reliability comes from the design which has remained the same for the last 30 years with Whirlpool maintaining the component selection that has been synonymous with the machines’ reliability.”
As a result, Blue Badger will now be offering these machines with a full warranty backed up nationally by its own service department. It will deliver soft servicing and where required, an engineer call out to ensure resolution. They will also be dispatched with next day delivery as standard.
