Blue Badger takes Vestfrost support in-house

From 1 April, Vesfrost refrigerator after-sales services will be provided directly from Blue Badger Wholesale.

Andover-based supplier Blue Badger Wholesale is now taking on the full after-sales responsibility for one of the brands it provides to the UK market, Vestfrost.

Appliances from the Danish refrigerator manufacturer had previously been managed by a long-standing service partner, who undertook all the warranty work.

Catering Insight understands the firm in question will continue to be responsible for previously-sold units still in warranty, but from 1 April, Blue Badger itself will take over after-sales responsibility for all new Vestfrost refrigeration equipment it sells.

Blue Badger sales office manager Alison Harvey detailed: “We have been working with Vestfrost for some time to improve the quality of after-sales service on this popular Danish brand. We know that historically service calls were not always resolved in a timely manner and that customers were sometimes left with faulty appliances for weeks.

“As the largest UK importer of Vestfrost our expertise with this brand is second to none and we will finally be able to offer a service level befitting this fabulous brand.”

She underlined: “The products will still be available with the same 3-year parts and labour warranty but now they’ll be backed with a premium level warranty with our high first-time-fix rate and rapid spare parts delivery.”
