Blanco Professional launches online consultations

Blanco Professional sales executives will demonstrate equipment via smart glasses.

Catering equipment supplier Blanco Professional will start live video consultations for dealers and end users from 1 March.

Interested parties can get to know the products and receive advice from the comfort of their own home or on the go from Blanco Professional sales consultants in the Oberderdingen showroom in Germany.

They will be wearing smart glasses that send a video feed live to the customers’ end devices. Appointments can be made via an online appointment calendar.

During the conversation, the sales advisor can create photos and videos and make them available directly to the dealer or end user. The connection is made via all common browsers on a computer, tablet or smartphone.

Markus Brieskorn, head of live and digital communications, commented: “Digital business models were an important topic at Blanco Professional even before the coronavirus. Since we built up competencies early on, we can now offer high-quality purchase advice, regardless of location.”

He emphasised that while Blanco Professional salespeople want to offer face to face advice as soon as possible, until restrictions are lifted, the live stream is a good alternative for answering all product questions directly.
