German-headquartered manufacturer the Blanco Professional Group has recorded a 3.5% turnover increase for the 2017 financial year compared to the previous 12 months.
The group achieved a consolidated turnover of €124m (£109m), compared to 2016’s €119.8m (£106m).
This revenue was generated by its four business units: catering, medical, industrial and railway, with an export share of around 40%. The company employs 698 staff overall.
In 2017, the catering division is said to have made an important contribution to solving individual customer requirements with its turnkey solutions for the Blanco Cook front cooking system. Market recognition for these developments include winning two GGKA (Association for Gastronomy and large kitchen equipment) top ratings as the ‘BestPartner 2018/2019’ in its front cooking and logistics categories.
Blanco Professional feels it offers a consistent “customer first” approach, through flexible, modular product systems and services on an international scale. The corporate brand strategy includes building brand ambassadors and creating presentation videos. A further expansion of the brand profile is planned, including an intensification of social media activities.

The company’s Oberderdingen location will continue to play a key role in the future and has been strengthened again with major investment. Over the next 3 years, Blanco Professional will invest €30m (£26) in its production network, including €20m (£18m) at the Oberderdingen headquarters.
