Italian cooking equipment manufacturer Berto’s has become the latest member of the Specifi online platform, which comprises a Revit library that includes equipment technical specifications and 3D drawings, in DWG and RFA formats.
Consultants, designers, and specifiers should now be able to configure the brand’s products thanks to the library of BIM-compliant 3D blocks.
Berto’s was founded in Italy in 1973 by Commendatore Giorgio Berto, and today about 80% of its turnover is driven by the export market.
The firm records yearly sales of around £20m, and has a 20,000metre2 factory, two showrooms, 120 employees, 18 semi-automatic lines and an average annual production of 25,000 pieces.
Berto’s equipment is entirely designed and manufactured in Italy in the company’s philosophy of bearing the ‘Made in Italy’ banner, with more than 600 products for professional cooking available, distributed in over 100 countries worldwide.
The brand is supplied to the UK market through Ascentia Foodservice Equipment and to the dealer channel by consultant, Radford Chancellor Ltd.
