Berkeley and Baron join forces for London project

Berkeley Projects has teamed up with Ali Group brand Baron for its latest large project. The distributor outfitted a staff dining facility which features spectacular views over the Thames.

Designed by Tricon Foodservice Consultancy to provide the best and most efficient kitchen within a very tight budget, the centre piece of the catering area is a Baron 900 series modular cooking suite with one of its latest specification combination ovens built in.

Berkeley won Tricon’s tender exercise and supplied, managed and coordinated the whole project. Phil Denne, Berkeley’s project manager for this site commented: “The ease of the Baron to install made our job relatively simple and the photographs show a superb finish for which everyone is delighted.”

Tricon is also pleased with the end result with senior design consultant Stuart Wilcox saying: “This was a particularly challenging installation in terms of imposed restrictions to the ventilation, gas and electric supplies. Integrating the combination oven into the suite helped to overcome these issues while staying within such tight confines of the plinth.

“Overall we at Tricon are very happy with the outcome and so is the client.”
