Ali Group cooking equipment brand Baron has announced new product developments and prices to take effect from 1 March 2021.
The Italian-headquartered manufacturer detailed that the price list has not undergone across-the-board increases, rather there has been a targeted adaptation of its tariffs, as there has been a cost increase for the cooking ranges’ internal components.
Anthony Aris, MD of Baron’s UK importer, Universal Foodservice Equipment, analysed: “There has not been an overall percentage increase as all product lines have been thoroughly investigated to reduce where possible and rationalise increases to some equipment to the barest minimum.
“We at Universal will do everything we can to hold any already quoted projects and products in order to ensure minimal disruption to our consultant and distributor partners in the UK.
“As the originator of the Baron brand to the UK market 20 years ago, we are delighted to retain their confidence and support.”
Furthermore, technological updates revealed include that the new versions of the Talent multi-functional cooker are available in the Queen9 80×90 and Queen7 70 80×70 modules; a plancha has been introduced into the Queen9 range for direct and indirect cooking, with a temperature range from 50° to 400°C; and new gas fryers with a 23litre tank and electric fryer with a 22litre tank with heating elements in the tank will be available to order for the Queen9 suite from March onwards.
And the 600 series will feature new gas cookers with more powerful burners in the 3.85kW and 5.7kW versions, and boosted versions with 7kW burners (in 40×65 and 80×65 modules). Plus the series will include electric cookers with round plates with a new moulded top and increased space between plates, to make it easier to work with wide-based pots and frying pans.
