Bar concept offers mobile post-lockdown solution for catering environments

Bar concept

A new bar concept developed by Edge DPM offers a cost effective, mobile, decorative and flexible post-lockdown hospitality solution.

The concept can be clad as specified by the customer and supplied with or without the refrigerated drawer below.

The unit has a chilled draft beer pump, ice chest/jockey station with speed rail and a wine rack, bottle opener and waste bin. If the refrigerated drawer is included then there is space for chilled mixers or an open cupboard for sprits and ambient mixers.

If the refrigerated drawer is required, the unit simply needs 2 x 13AMP plug sockets adjacent to where the unit is located.

A spokesperson for Edge DPM said: “We feel that this unit would ease pressure on the existing service point, bring the drink experience back to the customer and enhance the service operation, whilst allowing operators to be flexible in their service style and location.

“The units could be used at golf clubs for a post round drink in the open as the club houses are closed, in bars and restaurants within the gardens and outside seating areas and allow hotels to offer drink service within their grounds in a safe and compliant operation. The added benefit of the unit is, as the lockdown slowly relaxes further and events such as weddings come back to the hospitality sector, it can also be used to support dinks service at functions moving forward.”
