Catering equipment design and quotation platform AutoQuotes has established a crisis action plan called ‘AQ Cares’ during the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic.
The company posted on its website that it has made a no-layoff pledge, saying: “AQ will maintain 100% of our staff during this time. This pledge reinforces our commitment to our team and allows us to continue the highest level of service to our customers.”
The technology company will also release new products this month to facilitate remote working, at no additional costs. These new elements to allow distributors to close business with customers digitally include AQ Quote Acceptance and AQ Pay.
AutoQuotes is also creating new online training resources as the industry adjusts to working from home.
The firm is introducing flexible payment plans too, commenting: “We understand the financial impact of this crisis on your business and we want to make sure you remain productive with access to AQ, now and during the inevitable recovery.”
The final part of the action plan relates to industry data tracking, with AQ revealing: “We want to share our data to promote transparency and informed, data-driven decision making. Visit our ‘state of the FES Industry’ page to view user activity and quoting volume on the AQ platform.”
