Autonumis UK appoints new sales manager to enhance dealer focus


Autonumis UK, a bottle cooler and drinks dispenser manufacturer, has hired Peter Smedley as its new national sales manager.

His appointment is set to enhance the company’s sales presence and customer support within the UK distributor and dealer network.

In his new role, Smedley will be responsible for developing new business and building on distributor accounts old and new for the Gloucestershire-based UK manufacturer.

Smedley has more than 25 years’ experience within the foodservice industry and has worked for Trembath Distributors and Pentland Wholesale, before establishing his own business MPS Wholesale.

He also has international experience as he spent three years in Vancouver, Canada, working for one of the country’s largest catering equipment distributors. On his return, he joined Utensils as a kitchen design consultant.

Smedley said: “This is a very exciting time to be working with such a highly respected company such as Autonumis. It’s a brand that is truly synonymous with quality and exceptional reliability.

“I’m looking forward to utilising my skills and fostering new and old relationships with partners and dealers throughout the country, to build the business to the next level.”
