Asian prime equipment brand newcomer tops £5m in quotes

In recent weeks Asian cooking equipment brand Nayati has reached a target milestone with UK suppliers requesting over £5 million worth of quotes.

This is an encouraging indication of the level of activity in the market currently.

Nayati UK was set up last year by Stuart Campbell, the former Managing Director of CaterQuotes.

“Clearly the brand’s ‘value engineering without compromise’ message is resonating with equipment dealers, consultants, specifiers and end users,” says Campbell.

“Nayati’s presence at Hotelympia went gone a long way in persuading the UK industry to understand it’s extensive range, quality and pricing of its products and their plans to become one of the country’s leading players.

The Nayati equipment line-up features a brand new six-burner range developed for the UK market and the soon-to-be-available Amicus 600, Meritus 750 and Grandis 900 series ranges.

It also offers combination ovens and warewashing ranges.

“We’re delighted to have reached this level of potential business and been requested to quote our competitively priced products to so many dealers.

“We look forward to continuing to work with all suppliers and end users to deliver cost effective and profitable solutions.

“Many UK dealers have requested quotes ranging across both public and private sectors, covering all areas of hospitality and catering, from large complex, high specification projects, to the supply of individual key equipment products for established sites,” says Campbell.

Nayati is believed to be in the advanced stages of an equipment trial with one of the UK’s largest high street restaurant brands, through one of it’s key distributors.

Campbell was tight lipped about who the trials were being conducted by, but confirmed that product trials were active and further announcements would be made very soon.
