The 4eBin bulk dispenser from Araven’s OM group has picked up a trophy at the Best! N Food awards.
The product, one of the Spanish manufacturer’s newest additions, was recognised in the Best Shopper Marketing Display – Point of Sale category as one of the most sustainable bulk solutions on the market, as well as its advantages in dispensing self-service food (pasta, coffee, sweets, snacks, legumes) by gravity.
The Best! N Food Awards, formerly called the Best Awards, are dedicated to the food marketing sector in Spain and organised by Ipmark and DA/Retail magazines in collaboration with the Alimentaria trade fair.
This 4eBin bulk dispenser contributes to environmental care as it is made with recycled material, with 20% RPET. In addition, it features and antibacterial handle to protect the health of workers and customers, and for its space efficiency, usability and ergonomics. The Araven OM dispenser is designed for ease of maintenance (a claimed 30% less time compared to other models on the market) and replacement.
4eBin dispensers are designed to minimise food waste by allowing the user to pour the exact amount of product needed. It thus promotes bulk purchasing.
The units are also said to reduce the use of single-use plastics, combined with paper bags, and promoting the sale of ecological products.
This is the third time that OM division products have been recognised in this award category. In 2017, it achieved the first with its Next system, an automated front-end solution to improve buyer visibility in the refrigerated pizza category and thus facilitate their shopping experience and incentivise the testing of new flavours.
In 2019, OM won the award with Sigma, a system that contributes to fight against food waste of fruits, vegetables and vegetables. With a combination of design and materials that conduct cold, this display should extends the life of the product in the best organoleptic conditions and reduces waste.
