Alto-Shaam expands management team with new chief talent officer

Lindsey Higgins has joined Alto-Shaam as chief talent officer.

Cooking equipment manufacturer Alto-Shaam has expanded its management team with the appointment of Lindsey Higgins as chief talent officer, effective from Monday 29 November.

As a high-ranking member of the executive leadership team, Higgins will lead and execute Alto-Shaam’s people-focused human resources objectives. He will strengthen leadership and talent development at the company, furthering its more than 60-year journey of putting employees first.

Steve Maahs, president and chief operating officer at Alto-Shaam, said: “Our people make the difference. Previously, Higgins was the chief human resources officer at Marine Credit Union. He has more than 26 years’ experience in transformative and strategic talent development.

Higgins’ hiring comes just after Alto-Shaam earned the Model Workplace Award by FEDA, the US-based Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association. The award recognised Alto-Shaam for its dynamic workplace culture, as well as its ability to attract and retain talent, and develop future industry leaders.
