Alpeninox sets sights on refrigeration growth

Alpeninox has declared its intention to muscle in on the UK refrigeration market with the launch of its new Crio refrigeration range.

The range utilises new hydrocarbon refrigerants and enhanced insulation used to provide up to 65% more efficiency than previous models. Cabinets are fitted with up to 75mm thickness of cyclopentane insulation to improve performance without damaging the environment.

The full portfolio is divided in three categories — ‘Smart’, ‘Tech’ and ‘Touch’ — with the latest technology used to enable energy consumption reductions.

Alpeninox claims that with the introduction of the EU Ecodesign Directive in January 2014, the company is already well-placed to accommodate the changes.

UK managing director, David Jones, said: “The Alpeninox Brand has a clear focus on energy efficiency in its product portfolio, with the Alpeninox refrigeration brand already featured on the ETL and eligible for Enhanced Capital Allowance.”

Jones says that the company continues to look for new dealers to work with in the UK, pointing out since the UK business was created five years ago it has steadily built up its infrastructure.

“Alpeninox UK has the global strength of the Electrolux manufacturing group of brands and its massive commitment to continued research and development,” he said.

Alpeninox has recently introduced a fully electronic warehouse system to give customers real-time stock holding reports and automated its warranty operations to make the process more efficient.
