Allsop & Pitts teams with Blue Seal for burger joint’s new kitchen

Meat 59 Blue Seal

Allsop & Pitts has helped a popular Devon restaurant operator set up a new site in one of the region’s busiest shopping centres.

Meat59 has made its comeback in Exeter after a seven-month absence by moving into a unit in the city’s Princesshay shopping complex.

Allsop & Pitts supplied and installed a selection of Blue Seal cooking equipment for the kitchen, which will produce an extensive range of burgers.

It released pictures of the project on Twitter and tweeted to say it was “proud” to be involved with the fit-out.

Meat59 is an independently run, local multi-site restaurant specialising in meat and produce from Devon and the surrounding areas.

Everything is prepared on site, with the company also offering collection and delivery.

Family-run Allsop & Pitts was established in 1945 and has supplied, installed and serviced catering equipment from its base in Torquay for more than 70 years.

Five years ago it expanded the business by acquiring Cornwall Catering Equipment.
