CESA has revealed the companies who have made it to the shortlist for the Distributor Cup 2018, which is awarded each year to the distributor who has done most to support sales of light equipment and tableware (LET).
It’s judged by members of CESA’s LET group and is awarded at the LET Forum, which this year takes place on 22-23 May at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel, Towcester.
Alliances Disposables is in the running for the accolade again after its victory in the 2017 Cup, and this time the shortlist also includes Brakes Catering Equipment and Lockhart Catering Equipment.
Stephen Goodliff, chair of the CESA LET Group, said: “This is always a hotly contested competition. It’s very difficult to judge – witling it down to the shortlist is hard enough, let alone choosing a winner.
“It underlines the great relationship that many distributors and suppliers have – and the business benefits they can get from working together.”
The winner will be announced at the LET Forum Awards Dinner, which takes place on the first night of the event.
The LET Forum allows dealers to discover the latest concepts and ideas in the light equipment sector. It gives sales staff the opportunity to meet with leading light equipment and tableware suppliers and get free product training on the latest styles and most innovative gadgets.
Delegates receive free overnight accommodation at Whittlebury Hall and free attendance at the networking dinner.
The LET Forum is open to dealers and distributors who are selling light equipment and tableware to foodservice operators. Tickets are free, but strictly limited.
