Warewashing company Wexiodisk has confirmed that it will pursue plans to open a wholly-owned subsidiary in the UK.
The Scandinavian brand has just appointed ex-Manitowoc sales director Simon Frost as its UK country manager and his job will be to grow awareness of the brand and its products.
Wexiodisk is part of the Ali Group, which owns a dozen warewashing brands. Last month it appointed Serviceline as its official services provider in the UK.
The first airing of the company’s product range will come at Hospitality in January.
It intends to showcase the WD-6 Duplus and WD-PRM6 pre-rinse machines, as well as patented, double-final rinse technology for hood dishwashers which it claims results in a dramatic reduction in the amount of fresh water used in the washing process.
“Utilising this technology the WD-6 Duplus uses just one litre of fresh water per cycle which proves remarkably low in comparison to other leading brands on the market,” stated the company. “The low water consumption combined with the minimal fresh chemical and electric usage, makes this model the perfect choice for the modern sustainable kitchen.”
Wexiodisk will also highlight the WD-4 under-counter dishwasher and the larger WD-12 flexible combi-dishwasher.
