Bedfordshire-based Advance Group has agreed a joint venture with former Lincat sales and marketing director Rob Gibson in a move designed to increase sales of Thermodyne.
Gibson’s new business venture, Kitchen and Restaurant Projects will work with the Advance Group in a bid to expand the supply of Thermodyne in the UK.
This includes working with catering equipment distributors to secure the specification of Thermodyne in commercial kitchens.
The partnership deal will see K&R Projects take over the day to day responsibility of developing all sales of Thermodyne in the UK.
Thermodyne cook and hot holding cabinets use unique Fluid Shelf technology to circulates warm fluid through each shelf in the cabinet to achieve precise cooking and holding temperatures of +/- 1°C , and extremely even heat distribution.
Gibson explained: “Thermodyne is a fantastic product and with the K&R focus we look forward to developing a broader sales strategy in the coming months. Advance has a done a great job promoting Thermodyne to its existing client base and we now look forward to taking the Thermodyne to new national account and independent clients.
“The Thermodyne patented “Heat Transfer System”, gives a precision heat transfer of plus or minus one degree, resulting in precision cooking and hot holding. This meets all of K&R’s company’s criteria of sourcing products that creates solutions for clients, be it; improving peak service times, improving food quality and consistency, increasing product yields, cutting labour costs, enhancing food safety, saving energy costs.”
Gibson concluded: “We are very excited at taking on this innovative product and to gaining great traction both with national account clients and distributors, it enables me to use my skills developed with Lincat and Falcon of gaining specification and driving business through distributors, a win/win for clients and distributors.”
