Refrigerated drawer specialist Adande has shaken up its UK sales team and invested in ‘boots on the ground’.
Karl Hodgson, UK sales director, enthused: “It is with great excitement and pride that I am able to formally announce the promotion of our own Ben Aird, from regional sales manager to national account manager.
“It is important to give our best service for the customer and reward those who achieve in the marketplace, so it gives me great pleasure to demonstrate the culture of aspirational opportunity at Adande in promoting from within the organisation. Such is the case on this occasion for Ben after some 4 years good service with the business.”
This move enabled Graham Jones to join Adande, stepping into Aird’s former role as the regional sales manager for London and the South East.
Jones has been in the catering industry for a number of years and successfully ran his own company in Australia called Mr Chop. He previously specialised in airline ‘back of house’ kitchens with bespoke fabrication and table top equipment.
Further complimenting the team, Adande has welcomed James Kershaw on board, who will pair with Aird as national account manager.
Hodgson added: “James has been in the industry for 20 years; he’s well respected and has great knowledge and insight into the catering arena.
“He has worked with Trak Hupfer, CDS Wilman, Counterline and with a multitude of national accounts.”
Hodgson is also keen to stress that Adande is stretching the boundaries and driving the market forward in the UK: “James will be looking after some of our national accounts and pioneering new ones in the foodservice and retail sector.
“Both candidates have demonstrated a dynamic approach in what they want from their career and how to achieve their goals.
“This is a proven formula for me, and I am confident that both of these guys have what it takes to take Adande to the next level of sales in 2016 and beyond.”
